Bryggen coin pendant in oxidized silver with oxidized chain from Arven.
The original Bryggen coin was found during an archaeological excavation under the Bryggen in Bergen in the 1950s. The coin was minted in 1512 in Brandenburg-Franken by Margrave Friedrich de of Ansbach. On one side of the myth a saint is depicted and on the opposite side there are four coats of arms. The brew mint is great to wear alone as it is, or layered with several pieces of jewellery.
The Bryggen coin is delivered in a nice box together with a card where the history of the coin is described.

Back then, the cutlery was forged by hand and the rose pattern was hand chiselled. Rose was handmade by us from approx. 1900. The first mechanical production started in 1923. The Norwegian people gave Rosebestikk as a gift to King Haakon VII on the occasion of his coronation in 1906.

Den originale Kvartpenningen i sølv ble funnet under en arkeologisk utgravning under Bryggen i Bergen. Kvartpenningen dateres tilbake til Kong Håkon V's tid på den norske tronen (1299 - 1319). Kvartpenningen i sølv ble brukt som betalingsmiddel for mindre beløp under den Hanseatiske tiden.
Kvartpenning signetring leveres i en fin eske sammen med et kort hvor historien til mynten er beskrevet.
