    Regular price 1.862 kr
    /

    Stork children's spoon from Arven.

Stork children's cutlery has long been popular as a christening and name day gift in Norway. The cutlery has been produced by Arven since 1920 and is for many Norwegians a cherished memory for life.

Stork children's spoon has a detailed decoration where you can have all the child's birth and baptism data engraved (date of birth, year of birth, length, weight and time). The other parts can also be engraved and there are opportunities to give a personal greeting, for example "From Grandma".

When you as a customer buy a Stork children's spoon at Arven, you also get a beautiful bracelet in silver which we can gladly engrave with the child's name (Depending on the length of the name, approx. 7 letters). Silver cutlery has antibacterial properties and is therefore well suited for children.

Each individual spoon is handmade by our skilled silversmiths at Arven in the silver city of Bergen. Stork children's spoon comes in an elegant gift box.

Maintenance: Polished if necessary and dishwasher safe.

    Elveseter no. 343 jam spoon
    Regular price 2.294 kr
    /

Jam spoon no. 343 in the Elvesæter design.

Elvesæter was designed by Brødrene Lohne in 1954 and represents Norwegian folk art. Inspiration for the pattern was found in a small detail from the work of woodcarver Rasmus Elvesæter, who was responsible for a number of carvings at the family farm Elveseter in Jotunheimen. A wooden spoon from 1825 was allowed to be copied, and in 1954 the Elvesæter spoon in silver was launched for the first time. The original still hangs at Elveseter farm. The actual production of the pattern is an art in itself. Today, Elvesæter silver cutlery is a Norwegian cultural heritage.

Elvesæter jam spoon is well suited for use in jam, sugar or in the berry bowl.

Konval was designed by Trygve Eriksen in 1940 and represents 40s modernism. Stylized, organic shapes are repeated in many of our most beautiful silver cutlery. Child/ice cream spoon in the Rose design.

The rose design is a beautiful and timeless silver pattern. The rose pattern came from Germany in the 19th century and was brought to Norway by wandering journeymen. Back then, the cutlery was forged by hand and the rose pattern was hand chiselled. Rose was handmade by us from approx. 1900. The first mechanical production started in 1923. The Norwegian people gave Rosebestikk as a gift to King Haakon VII on the occasion of his coronation in 1906.

Children's/ice spoon in the Konval design.

Konval was designed by Trygve Eriksen in 1940 and represents 40s modernism. Stylized, organic shapes are repeated in many of our most beautiful silver cutlery. Lily of the valley is, in the same way as Lily, inspired by the shape of a flower. The rendering of the lily of the valley flower is done in a simple and elegant expression that is typical of the idiom of the time. The 1950s modernist style, characterized by simplicity and functionality, is prominent in Konval's slim and graceful design.

The Konval children's/ice cream spoon is just as suitable as a children's spoon as a dessert spoon.

Small tablespoon in the Laila design.

Laila was designed by Torvald Olsen in 1935 and represents Norwegian historicism. Laila is inspired by the Rococo style. The C-shaped arches with their features from rose painting and wood carving were typical of the Neo-Cocco era in Norway. The style is complex, rich in detail, elaborately embroidered and the cutlery places high demands on the craftsmen.
