Elveseter no. 348 cake shovel, large tip
    Regular price 4.649 kr
    /

Cake spatula with large tip no. 348 in the Elvesæter design.

Elvesæter was designed by Brødrene Lohne in 1954 and represents Norwegian folk art. Inspiration for the pattern was found in a small detail from the work of woodcarver Rasmus Elvesæter, who was responsible for a number of carvings at the family farm Elveseter in Jotunheimen. A wooden spoon from 1825 was allowed to be copied, and in 1954 the Elvesæter spoon in silver was launched for the first time. The original still hangs at Elveseter farm. The actual production of the pattern is an art in itself. Today, Elvesæter silver cutlery is a Norwegian cultural heritage.

Elvesæter cake spatula with a large tip is well suited for cutting and serving cake.

Cake spatula in the Rose design.

The rose design is a beautiful and timeless silver pattern. The rose pattern came from Germany in the 19th century and was brought to Norway by wandering journeymen. Back then, the cutlery was forged by hand and the rose pattern was hand chiselled. Rose was handmade by us from approx. 1900. The first mechanical production started in 1923. The Norwegian people gave Rosebestikk as a gift to King Haakon VII on the occasion of his coronation in 1906.

Serving fork in the Konval design.

Konval was designed by Trygve Eriksen in 1940 and represents 40s modernism. Stylized, organic shapes are repeated in many of our most beautiful silver cutlery. Lily of the valley is, in the same way as Lily, inspired by the shape of a flower. The rendering of the lily of the valley flower is done in a simple and elegant expression that is typical of the idiom of the time. The 1950s modernist style, characterized by simplicity and functionality, is prominent in Konval's slim and graceful design.

The Konval serving fork has two long prongs that are well suited for serving different types of meat.
