Natural diamonds

Natural diamonds are formed deep within the Earth's crust over millions of years, under extreme pressure and high heat. Each stone is unique, shaped by nature's own processes.

Quality is assessed using the international criteria known as the 4 Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat – just like synthetic diamonds. Because natural diamonds are a limited resource, price and availability can vary. This contributes to their exclusive and timeless appeal.

Synthetic diamonds

Synthetic diamonds are a modern and equally real alternative to natural diamonds. They are produced in controlled laboratories by replicating the same natural processes that form diamonds.

The result is diamonds with identical chemical, physical and optical properties to natural diamonds. Quality is assessed using the same 4 Cs – Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat – and synthetic diamonds can often be offered at a lower price than natural diamonds of comparable quality. This makes them an attractive choice for couples who want beautiful, durable jewellery with greater flexibility in their budget.
