How the process works
We accept jewelry that features larger, natural diamonds or gemstones. This will be reviewed by our team during the meeting.
Book a personal appointment with one of our team members in-store and bring your jewelry with you. We will review it together and guide you on the next steps.
Once your jewelry has been restored, it will be listed for sale in our Private Collection. You can choose between receiving 70% of the sale price as a gift card with us, or 60% paid to your bank account within 14 days.
If the jewelry is not sold within 6 months, you are of course free to collect it. If you wish to retrieve it earlier, an administrative fee of NOK 1,500 will apply.

Frequently asked questions
Exchange and withdrawal rights apply only to items purchased in our online store. For online purchases, you have a 14-day exchange and withdrawal right from the date you receive the item, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act.

Private Collection is Arven's commission concept for reselling exclusive jewelry with natural diamonds or gemstones. We give your jewelry new life through professional presentation and secure handling.
Private Collection by Arven is a curated collection of gemstone jewellery – such as natural diamonds, pearls or other gemstones – selected for its quality, craftsmanship and history.
Unfortunately, jewelry without gemstones is not part of the Private Collection. For jewelry consisting mainly of gold or silver, we instead offer to buy the metal by weight through our service Sell Your Gold and Silver. Read more here.
You can choose between:
- 70% of the sales price as a gift card at Arven, or
- 60% of the sales price paid to your bank account
*Arven retains 30% / 40% respectively.
We emphasize a simple, secure, and transparent process. If we deem the jewelry unsuitable for the collection, a fee of NOK 500 will be charged for the time spent on the assessment.
If the jewelry is to be returned before it has been available for sale for six months, an administration fee of NOK 1,500 will apply. We also offer an insurance valuation of the jewelry, carried out by our experienced goldsmiths, for NOK 1,500.
The process begins with the jewelry being prepared and photographed, which takes approximately 4 weeks. Once ready, they are listed for sale for 6 months from publication. The preparation time is not included in the actual sales period.
