Teaspoon in Double Rococo design.

Double Rococo was designed by Brødrene Lohne in 1951 and represents Norwegian historicism. The pattern was designed in the early 1950s, but is not typical of the 50s. Double Rococo turns towards the Neo-Rococo period of the 1850s, which was inspired by rose painting and the woodcarving tradition. Double Rococo is a lovely craft with an openwork pattern, which was typical of woodcarving.

Teaspoon in the Silvia design.

Silvia was designed by Brødrene Lohne in 1968 and represents late modernism. Silvia is typical of the 60s and 70s. The cutlery's decoration consists of an elegant geometric pattern. This pattern highlights the beautiful properties of silver. Silvia is a brilliant example of Norwegian quality craftsmanship carried out in a late modernist design.

Teaspoon in Princess design.

Princess was designed by Meyer, Brødrene Lohne in 1941 and represents Norwegian historicism. Princess reflects the court style of Louis XV and Versailles in the 18th century. With Rococo, naturalistic motifs became dominant in interiors, furniture and handicrafts. A number of beautiful silver employees characterized by the Rococo style have been created in Norway throughout the ages. Princess is one of them.

Teaspoon in the Laila design.

Laila was designed by Torvald Olsen in 1935 and represents Norwegian historicism. Laila is inspired by the Rococo style. The C-shaped arches with their features from rose painting and wood carving were typical of the Neo-Cocco era in Norway. The style is complex, rich in detail, elaborately embroidered and the cutlery places high demands on the craftsmen.

Teaspoon in Rose design.

The rose design is a beautiful and timeless silver pattern. The rose pattern came from Germany in the 19th century and was brought to Norway by wandering journeymen. Back then, the cutlery was forged by hand and the rose pattern was hand chiselled. Rose was handmade by us from approx. 1900. The first mechanical production started in 1923. The Norwegian people gave Rosebestikk as a gift to King Haakon VII on the occasion of his coronation in 1906.

Teaspoon in Pariser design.

Pariser was designed for the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937. The pattern is representative of the design language of European modernism in the 1930s, where the characteristic feature is reflected in the shape of the cutlery itself. Pariser was awarded the label for good design in 1965.

Hardanger was designed by Edvard Anda in 1930 and represents national romanticism. The design is inspired by Norwegian Baroque and Rococo style, with shapes that were used in rose painting and wood carving. The uneven surface reflects hand-hammered cutlery. Hardanger represents the untidy within Norwegian craftsmanship.

Edel was designed by Einar Olsen in 1930. The pattern has its origins in 18th-century baroque spoons. The design is rich and balanced.

Måne was designed by Jacob Tostrup Prytz in 1935 and represents 30s modernism. Prytz is described as "one of the leading figures in the Norwegian craft and design environment in the interwar period". His goldsmith work was at a high international level. The design lies in the shape of the cutlery itself, which gives Måne the simple, stylish elegance that is characteristic of modernism.

Teaspoon in Jubilee design.

Jubileum was designed by Jacob Tostrup Prytz in 1932 and represents classic timeless. Jubileem stands out as a larger and heavier cutlery. The design is a variant of the double-ribbed pattern that is also found at Rosendal. A timeless style that was common on handmade silver cutlery in the 19th century. Jubileum has been chosen to represent good Norwegian design in several of our Norwegian embassies abroad.

Teaspoon in Rosendal design.

The silverware's name may refer to the Baroniet i Rosendal, which was built by Baron Ludvig Rosenkrantz in 1665. The double-ribbed pattern was common from the 19th century, but is also known from the 18th century. The double rifle means two lines running parallel.

Teaspoon in Åre design.

Åre was designed by Birger Saastad and Jacob Tostrup Prytz in 1958 and represents 50s modernism. The pattern is very characteristic of the 50s. Tight-fitting stripes are found again in the furniture design and fixtures of the time; teak doors with stripes, shutters in front of the TV set, plastic and metal decor. The stripes, which do not go all the way to the edge, are a nice detail. The transition to the blade is special, simple and elegantly executed.
