Membership terms for Arven
1. About the customer club
Arven customer club is operated by Arven AS (corporation no. 916 839 898) with address PO Box 172, 5812 Sandviken.
Arven customer club is a benefits and loyalty program for customers who have registered as members. By signing up, you agree to these terms and conditions. As a member, you will receive information about exclusive offers and benefits.
You can also choose to consent to us customizing your membership and communication with you. Your consents can be updated via "My Page" and given upon registration.
2. About membership
Membership is free and available to individuals over the age of 18. When registering, you must provide a mobile phone number, valid email address, name and address. You are responsible for ensuring that the information is correct and up-to-date.
As a member, you get access to exclusive offers. The benefits are personal and cannot be transferred or inherited.
One of the member benefits is bonus earning on regular priced items. Bonus earned when purchasing in a physical store becomes available the next day. When returning items, the corresponding bonus is withdrawn.
To receive a birthday surprise, you must register your date of birth and consent to SMS marketing.
To receive member benefits, you must agree to receive information via email. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, this will be considered as withdrawal from the customer club, and any earned bonuses will be deleted.
3. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Your information is stored and used only in connection with your membership. You can update your consents, change personal data or unsubscribe at any time via "My Page".
We register and process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act to administer and operate the customer club.
We have a legitimate interest in customizing communications based on information you have provided to us, as well as your purchases and actions in store and online. This gives you more relevant offers and a better overview of your purchase history.
You may consent to us sending you relevant communications in other media, including digital advertising. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via "My Page" or by contacting us.
We do not share your information with third parties.
4. Duration of the agreement
The terms and conditions apply from the time you register as a member or accept these terms and conditions. They replace any previous terms and conditions.
If you are inactive as a member, we will delete your account. You will receive a prior notification by email, and if we do not hear from you, your account will be deleted.
We reserve the right to change the terms. In the event of significant changes, we will inform you so that you can accept the new terms. Minor changes, such as updating contact information, may occur without prior notice.
The Customer Club may be terminated or replaced with 30 days' notice. If this occurs due to changes in law, court decisions or government orders, the Customer Club may be closed immediately. We may also terminate your membership immediately if you provide false information or violate the terms.
5. Services offered by third parties
Some services, such as shipping or payment, may be provided by third parties. These may have their own terms and conditions that you must accept in order to use the service.
Arven is not responsible for services provided by third parties. Use of such services is a relationship between you and the relevant third party.
6. Force Majeure
In the event of events that make it impossible for us to fulfill our obligations, these obligations cease for as long as the situation persists. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in legislation, labor disputes, war, riot, fire, flood, government intervention or network failure beyond our control.
7. Disputes and choice of law
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be handled by Norwegian courts, with Nordre Follo District Court as the venue, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation.
