May 17th ribbon with the city mountains
May 17th bow with the city mountains from Arven.
In 2020, we celebrated Bergen's 950th anniversary. A fantastic city with a fantastic history. The 950th anniversary stands for: Identity, democracy, and sustainability. The anniversary bow is handmade by our skilled silversmiths locally at Bryggen in Bergen and will be a lasting memento from Bergen's anniversary year. The motif is a combination of the official anniversary logo and Bergen's landmarks: The seven mountains with the Ulriken mast in the middle, St. Mary's Church, and ADO. The official logo symbolizes Bergen's very signature: Rain. The logo can also be found on 500 manhole covers (or drain covers as outsiders call them) around our beautiful, wet city.
Maintenance: Polish lightly as needed. The ribbon can be ironed on low heat.
