Åre cake fork
Åre was designed by Birger Saastad and Jacob Tostrup Prytz in 1958 and represents 50s modernism. The pattern is very characteristic of the 50s. Tight stripes can be found again in the furniture design and fixtures of the time; teak doors with stripes, shutters in front of the TV set, plastic and metal decor. The stripes, which do not go all the way to the edge, are a nice detail. The transition to the blade is particularly, simply and elegantly executed.
The Åre cake fork is 3-pronged and the outermost prong is wider than the other prongs, making the cake fork well suited for dividing the cake.
Comes in an elegant gift box. Want to make it extra unique? We can engrave forks. Contact us!
