Bryggeminde pendant with edge, yellow gold
Bryggemynt pendant with yellow gold edge from Arven.
The original Bryggemynten was found during an archaeological excavation under Bryggen in Bergen in the 1950s. The coin was minted in 1512 in Brandenburg-Franconia by Margrave Friedrich de of Ansbach. On one side of the myth is depicted a saint and on the opposite side are four coats of arms. The Bryggemynten is great to wear alone as is, or layered with more jewelry.
This edition of the Bryggemynten is enclosed in a frame, also in yellow gold. The Bryggemynten is delivered in a nice box together with a card describing the history of the coin.
