Here, the designer, Birker Saastad, has emphasized the shine of the silver and exploited the opportunity for light to play in reflective facets in the middle section. The pattern is typical of late modernism in the 60s and 70s. The designer has been inspired by the shine of the silver and the faceted shapes to create a slim, elegant and straight-lined silver cutlery.
