Konval was designed by Trygve Eriksen in 1940 and represents 40s modernism. Stylized, organic shapes are repeated in many of our most beautiful silver cutlery. Lily of the valley is, in the same way as Lily, inspired by the shape of a flower. The rendering of the lily of the valley flower is done in a simple and elegant expression that is typical of the idiom of the time. The 1950s modernist style, characterized by simplicity and functionality, is prominent in Konval's slim and graceful design.

Konval cake fork is 3-pronged and the outermost prong is wider than the other prongs, so that the cake fork is well suited to dividing the piece of cake.
