Konval was designed by Trygve Eriksen in 1940 and represents 40s modernism. Stylized, organic shapes are repeated in many of our most beautiful silver cutlery. Lily of the valley is, in the same way as Lily, inspired by the shape of a flower. The rendering of the lily of the valley flower is done in a simple and elegant expression that is typical of the idiom of the time. The 1950s modernist style, characterized by simplicity and functionality, is prominent in Konval's slim and graceful design.

The Konval butter fork is a so-called cold fork and is well suited for serving balls of butter, lemon slices, spreads and other cold food.
