Quarterpenny bracelet gold plated silver

Quarterpenny bracelet in gold-plated silver.

The original silver quarterpenny was found during an archaeological excavation under Bryggen in Bergen. The quarterpenny dates back to King Håkon V's time on the Norwegian throne (1299 - 1319). The silver quarterpenny was used as a means of payment for small amounts during the Hanseatic period.

The quarterpenny bracelet comes in a nice box along with a card describing the history of the coin.

The bracelet has two loops and can be adjusted to fit different wrists.
