Kvartpenning necklace from Handmade By Arven
The original silver Kvartpenning coin was found during an archaeological excavation under Bryggen in Bergen. The Kvartpenning dates back to the time of King Håkon V on the Norwegian throne (1299 - 1319). The silver Kvartpenning was used as a means of payment for smaller amounts during the Hanseatic period.
The Kvartpenning pendant is designed with or without a rim; choose the design that suits you best.
The Kvartpenning comes in a beautiful box together with a card describing the history of the coin.
