Vintage Hardanger cake server
Designed by Edvard Anda in 1930. The Hardanger pattern is in the Norwegian national romantic style. The design is inspired by Norwegian Baroque and Rococo styles, with forms used in traditional Norwegian decorative painting (rosemaling) and wood carving. The uneven surface reflects hand-hammered cutlery. Hardanger represents the authentic roots of Norwegian craftsmanship. The item has been quality checked, cleaned, and newly polished. It has no engravings. Used, genuine Norwegian silverware at one of the market's best prices.
